If you’re a cinema enthusiast and want to make a mark in film making but lack opportunities to showcase your talent, the 100 Hour Film Maker is a dream-come-true project for you. 100HMM is here to add wings to your imaginative flight, provided you’re willing to spend 100 sleepless hours of your lives.

100HMM is a film making competition that provides a platform to put together your own team, write your ownstory and film that story into a short film in just 100 hours. To give a level-playing field to every competing team,100HMM will hand out a genre, a character, a prop and dialogue through a draw to each team, which the teams must incorporate in their projects.

100HMM is a 100-hour project plus two additional days to decide the winner. Suppose your time start on Monday evening, you have to complete and submit your project by Thursday afternoon. Then a team of expert will judge your work and the best three films will be announced on Sunday evening. The winner team will go home with a hefty Cash Prize of Rs. 2 Lakh. The best part is that we’ll facilitate screening every film in film festivals across India.

By the overwhelming response we are getting from the budding film makers, we can easily say that 100HMM will become India’s largest timed-filmmaking competition on a single platform, aiming to nurture the raw talent and provide a helping hand to local creative people to help realize their dreams. Contest Rules

At the curtain-raiser event, every registered team will be invited to an auditorium in Delhi for a Draw. The draw will be made in four categories: genre, prop, character and dialogue. Each category will have a separate bowl of slips containing separate items. The teams will be given a chance to pick two slips from each bowl and incorporate at least one of them in their story. The following may be the subcategories of the categories:

1. Genre: Romance, Drama, Comedy, Tragedy, Education, action, horror, thriller, War, adventure, biopic, non-fiction, sports
2. Prop: will be given at the time of draw
3. Character: will be given at the time of draw
4. Dialogue: will be given at the time of draw

Required Genre must be incorporated in the story.
Required prop must be present in the film in physical condition.
Required Character must show up in the film.
Required Dialogue must be incorporated in the story

Eligibility criteria

• It’s an open contest
• No age restriction
• Prior experience not required

Rules of Contest

• There is no limit on number of members in a team
• The team must choose one genre from two slips drawn from the bowl
• The team must incorporate one prop, one character and one dialogue in their project
• Being host of the contest Kumbha Media Solutions employees cannot participate in the contest
• All qualified entries must be independently produced and financed their projects within 100 hours
• In case of the violation of rules, Kumbha Media Solution reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any project, at any times of the contest
• Once entry fee is paid through our payment gateway, no reimbursement of the same will be made
